Love this...

Naturally, I thought this kiddo needed a bacon bandaid to match the shirt. Yes, I just so happened to have bacon bandaids in my classroom...just in case I happen to be in a situation like this. ;)

Apple Funny

This week in shared reading we read the book, Apple Farmer Annie:

It is about an apple farmer. She picks apples, make various apple products, and sells them at the market.

Next week is my last week on apples. I sent home a note for students to bring an apple or two so we can use them for fun activities. 

As I handed out folders, I told my students what it said. One of my sweet friends responded in a concerned voice, "but I don't have an apple farm."
