Objects in the Sky

Last week we learned about objects in the sky.

Here are a few activities we did after learning about different things we can see in the sky.

We started the week off by discussing things you can see in the sky in the daytime and nighttime. Students wrote things they thought of in their journals:

We watched a BrainPopJr video about the moon. Then we painted a moon and wrote a fact about it:

We had fun making our own constellations. We turned out the lights and put a flashlight up to them to see how it would look at night.

We also read It Looked Like Spilt Milk and made Puffy Paint Clouds:

 We focused on the sun for a day, but my camera did not make it out for that one...oops!
