Coin Rubbings

This week we have been working on identifying coins through exploration, poems, songs, etc. Today we did coin rubbings in our math journals. My kids thought this was awesome! Ignore the plural of pennies being wrong. We were writing the singular form of each word, but then my kids decided we needed to add an 's' to each word because there was more than one of each coin. I have some smarties!

Oh and does anyone else's kids think this song is hilarious: Hey, Honey Bunny! I Know My Money Money!
